Hey! So Glad You're Here. Read More About Me!
I was born to two hardworking parents who immigrated from India to California, seeking better opportunities for themselves and a brighter future for me. Shortly after, they made the move to Northern Virginia, where I was raised. (And yes, Northern Virginia is different from the rest of the state!)
Being an only child in a home with parents working 9-to-5 jobs, I spent a lot of time by myself growing up. It wasn’t difficult, but it was a bit lonely at times. I found myself craving their attention, but I also learned to be independent at an early age.
In school, I was known as the friendly, extroverted kid—though I’ll admit, I did cause my fair share of disruptions! My teachers liked me, but I had a hard time focusing in class. I also happened to be a year younger than everyone else in my grade since I skipped Pre-K, which may not sound like much, but it made me feel the need to mature quickly.
Academically, I was a strong student in elementary school, but everything changed when I entered middle school. I realized that being naturally smart wasn’t enough, as everyone around me was just as intelligent. My struggle wasn’t with the material itself but my lack of focus. This followed me into high school, and I often found myself falling behind.
College became the turning point for me. It was there that I truly learned the importance of time management, discipline, and perseverance. I developed the work ethic I had been missing, and it transformed the way I approached both my studies and my life. Now, I consider myself a driven, organized, and hardworking person who knows how to stay focused and get things done.
When I’m not busy with school or work, you can usually find me spending time with friends, doing arts and crafts, baking, or trying to catch the sunset. I have fallen in love with my life and learn to things as they come and that is what helped me enjoy my life.
